Actress Amala Paul-starrer Aadai had raised eyebrows when the first look poster of the film which showed an injured Amala, dressed in tattered clothes, wielding a makeshift weapon, crying out in agony. Now the makers have released the teaser of the heroine-centric horror thriller directed by Meyaadha Maan fame Rathna Kumar.
The more than a minute and half teaser begins with Amala Paul’s mother making police complaint about her missing daughter and ends with showing Amala Paul waking up nude in an isolated multi-storey building.
Amala plays a young woman who is bold and different and the film has been cleared by the Censor Board with an ‘A’ certificate. The film has been shot in and around Chennai. While most of the cast comprises newcomers, the music has been composed by popular singer-composer Pradeep Kumar and the band Oorka.
