Teesta River erosion: 50 families homeless, 100 families facing threat in Rangpur

Mintu Abdur Rahman, Rangpur :Erosion by the River Teesta has rendered at least 50 families homeless at Hajipara village under Alambiditor union of Gangachara Upazila in the district during last one week.In addition, vast areas of crop fields, a good number of vegetables gardens under the area have also been devoured by the river.
