A two-day training programme for the reporters on ‘Knowledge sharing and capacity building workshop on agri-biotechnology reporting’ started at a hotel in the city yesterday. IRRI Representative for Bangladesh Dr Humnath Bhandari chaired the program, while Director General of BRRI Dr Md Shahjahan Kabir attended as chief guest, National Consultant of IRRI Dr Jiban Krishna Biswas was present as special guest. About 30 reporters from different media houses attended the programme.
