A two day long International Workshop on Long-Term Monitoring, Research and Analysis in Coastal Areas of Bangladesh held at CIRDAP International Conference Center in the capital organised by Bangladesh Water Development Board in collaboration with the Institute of Water Modeling, DHI and Deltares. Kabir Bin Anwar, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, joined the event virtually as Chief Guest. Special guests were Fazlur Rashid, Director General, Bangladesh Water Development Board, Mizanur Rahman, Additional Secretary (Development), Ministry of Water Resources, and Jyoti Prasad Ghosh, Additional Director General (Western Region), Water Development Board, Zia Uddin Baig, Additional Director General (Planning, Design and Research), Bangladesh Water Development Board, presided over the opening ceremony.
