Rudra Mahfuz’s daily soap Life In A Metro is being aired on ATN Bangla now. After airing on first day of February, the serial has already comes into limelight. This play was directed by BU Shuvo.
A new serial titled Meghey Dhaka Shohor written by Rudra Mahfuz and directed by Shakhawat Manik will go on air from last week of April. Mahfuz is also writing another two new serials – Circle and Rupkotha.
Keeping in mind for the upcoming Eid festival, he is writing Money Money Prem, Photograph, Priyojon, Shadow of Memories, Thikana Bhul Chhilo, Hide Story, Kachhakachhi Pashapashi, Before Sunrise, Kobi O Rodela Dupur, and Love in Rain. Besides these, he is also writing a short length film with the title Dehanta.
Some years ago, Rudha Mahfuz received his post graduate degree from the department of theatre, the University of Dhaka. While studying at the department of theatrical arts, he got the scope to come in touch of Sayed Jamil Ahmed, Israfil Shaheen and Wahida Mallik. Under the academic curriculum, he rolled part in William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Taming of the Shrew, Sophocles’s Oedipus, Aristophanes’ Vec, Mollier’s Tartuffe, DL Roy’s Shahjahan, Harold Pinter’s The Room, etc as well as many others improvisation based drama production.
