Touring Bangladesh ‘A’ team will play their first three-day match against Karnataka Cricket Association team beginning today (Tuesday) at Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadeyar ground in Mysore. The second string Bangladesh team will complete their India tour taking on the India ‘A’ in another three-day match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore from September 27 to 29. Earlier, in the three-match unofficial one-day series, hosts India A clinched the series 2-1 against visiting Bangladesh ‘A’ team.Bangladesh A team made frustrating start in India tour after suffering a humiliating 96-run defeat against Indian A Team in the first one day match on Sept 16. But, Bangladesh ‘A’ team smartly bounced back in the series 1-1 after beating their Indian counterpart by 65 runs in the 2nd one day match on Sept 18 featuring an all-round performance by national cricketer Nasir Hossain.Nasir Hossain guided the team towards victory in the 2nd one-day match hammering an unbeaten 102 runs in addition to five wickets haul for 36 runs Meanwhile, Karnataka State Cricket Association on Friday (Sept 18) announced the 15-member Karnataka team for the first three day match against Bangladesh A Team with R Vinay Kumar as captain.Apart from R Vinay Kumar, Robin Uthappa and Mayank Agarwal are the other notable cricketers of Karnataka Team. Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) also announced India ‘A’ team on Wednesday (Sept 9) for the 2nd three-day match against Bangladesh A team.Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has been named as captain of the Indian ‘A’ team to play three-day-match against Bangladesh.
