A press conference was held demanding “Establishment approval of Dr. M.A Wazed Miya Agricultural University” at Narendrapur Sugar Cane Farm area in Lalpur upazila under Natore district. It was held at Gopalpur of Lalpur Upazila Parishad on last Saturday under the auspices of “Agricultural University Establishment Parishad”.
At this time, the Convenor Md Tahaj Uddin, Secretary Sukumer Chandra Sarker, Joint Convenor Principal Ibrahim Khalil, Member Intaz Ali, Principal Akram Hossain, Lacturer Muzammel Haque, Muktijoddah Naim Uddin, Omar Ali of the committee were present there.
Demanding to estalish the university in Lalpur,the Convenor Tahaj Uddin said, recently government approved the “Agricultural University” to establish at a suitable place in Natore district. He also said, all elements and facilities are available to estalish the university in Lalpur. There are a good, comfortable road and railway communication from this Lalpur .
