Police and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have recovered the body of one Dulal Chandra Dulu (50) from Baura Union in Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat district.
Patgram Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sumon Kumar confirmed it the body was sent to Lalmonirhat morgue on Saturday (November 21) for autopsy.
Family and locals Source said Dulal Chandra Dulu, son of late Jogesh Chandra from Nabinagar village in Ward 4 of the union, left home on Thursday (November 19th) morning. Family members did not find his whereabouts even after searching in different places. The next day, Friday (November 20), locals saw Dulu’s body floating in the Saniajan River near the Indian border.
The BGB was first informed and later Patgram police and BGB recovered the body from the river on Friday night.
According to the locals, Dulal Chandra Dulu had been suffering from epilepsy (hysteria) for a long time. Many people think that he may die if he falls into the river.
A case has been registered Patgaram Thana.
