A meeting protesting the assault and arrest of Prothom Alo senior reporter Rozina Islam was held in front of Mymensingh Press Club on Wednesday organized by Mymensingh Journalists Union (MUJ). Mymensingh Press Club General Secretary Babul Hossain, Mir Golam Mostafa, Mosharraf Hossain and Amit Roy addressed the meeting presided over by its President Ataul Karim Khokon. Sharifuzzaman Titu, Abu Saleh Musa, Rakibul Hasan Rubel, Biplob Basak and Kamal Hossain, were among others, present on the occasion. The leaders demanded the immediate release of the detained journalist Rozina Islam subject to proper investigation.
