A farewell was accorded to a promoted police officer Md Tohidul Islam on Tuesday evening. He was an Incharge Officer of Bonpara Police Tadantho Kendro under Baraigram upazila. On the occasion, Bonpara Pouro Shava arranged a farewell meeting at the auditorium of it’s premises. Pouro Mayor KM Jakir Hossain presided over the meeting.
Former State Minister Prof. Abdul Kuddus MP was present as a chief guest. Also, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Zahangir Alam, Baraigram thana OC Md Anwarul Islam, Gomostapur thana OC Dilip Kumar Dash, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mst Mohaimena Sharmin, Upazila AL President Abdul Kuddus Miyazi, General Secretary Adv. Mizanur Rahman addressed at the meeting on service life of of promoted police officer Md Tohidul Islam. Also, Md Tohidul Islam addressing the meeting prayed doya and good wishing from all sectors of people of Baraigram upazila.
He got promotion as an OC of Mohonpur thana under Rajshahi district and joined there on November 19.
At this farewell meeting, Bonpara Pouro Shava, Baraigram Thana officials and local elite were present.
