A discussion meeting and prayers have been held on the occasion of the third anniversary of the swearing in of the fourth council of Barisal City Corporation (BCC). The event was held on Friday (October 23) at the Serniabat Bhavan compound on Kali Bari Road in Barisal. The meeting was chaired by City Mayor Sadiq Abdullah and was attended by AKM Jahangir, President of the Metropolitan Awami League, Afzalul Karim, Vice-President, Talukder Mohammad, General Secretary of the District Awami League. The mayors and councilors of the current council, including Yunus. Meanwhile, Mayor Sadiq Abdullah said, “Today we are doing politics not for rice, but to build a golden Bangladesh.” As long as I can’t keep it in my mind, I can’t bring any change.
