Believe it or not a debauched father (38) tried to deflower her daughter (14) in Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat district recently, according to a report received here. In this connection the daughter registered a case against the father with Fakirhat Model PS as the plaintiff.
After the incident, the debauched father Md. Shahidul Gazi (38) went into hide. He hails from a village within Mansa-Bahirdia Union Parishad under the Upazila. Police disclosed it to the newsmen with the reference of the case, the plaintiff of the case is a student of Class-IX of a Madrasa. Following a family quarrel taken place between Shaidul Gazil (38) and his wife Reshma Khatun, the husband Shahidul drove her (wife) out from his house recently. Since then she (wife) has been living in her father’s residence (in the same village) along with her children.
As a result, Shahidul Gazi had been living in his residence alone since the incident. On January 26 afternoon the daughter and her younger brother went to their father’s residence to pay visit. But the brother went to a local play ground leaving her sister there alone.
