1.5 lakh distressed people get VGF rice in Rajshahi

Around 1.5 lakh poor and distressed people have been brought under Vulnerable Group Feeding (VGF) programme in the district to mark the ongoing month of holy Ramadan and forthcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitre.Under the specialized VGF programme, 1,447 tonnes of rice will be distributed among 1.05 lakh beneficiaries in nine upazilas and 40,049 in 14 pourasavas in the district.
