A bad day for Bangladesh: Soumya

Tigers fluent performer Soumya Sarkar termed the day as bad day for Bangladesh while Pakistan spin bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed satisfied over his boys as they showed excellent performance in the first innings against the host.
Both made the comments at a press conference after the second day of their first match of the two-match Dan Cake Test Cricket Series at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Wednesday.
“Bangladesh passed a bad day today (Wednesday), we couldn’t utilised any chance,” said Soumya.
Emphasizing on the third Thursday’s two sessions, he claimed that still the match is not out of their control.
“Tomorrow’s (Thursday) two sessions are very important as match is still not out of control,” said Soumya.
Terming Pakistan bowling line up as world class Soumya said, “They played very well today; especially their pacer and spinner didn’t deliver any bad bowl as well as their batsmen played well to set a good position for the side.”
“Our target was to booked Bangladesh within 325 runs, we almost have done this, and we planned to take quick wickets in the first session to check their runs, success came at our end,” said Mushtaq,
Mushtaq also praised Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq as he utilised the spinners properly.
On the second day, in response to Bangladesh 332 runs in the first innings, the visitors opened the first innings and scored 227 for 1 , at stumps, in 58 overs, spurred by Mohammad Hafeez unbeaten century of 137 off 179 featuring 12 fours and two sixes.
