The 9th International Bangladesh Infrastructure Innovation & Development Expo and Dialogue 2018 will be held from 2 to 5 March 2018 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) at Dhaka.
To develop green economy by increasing use of eco-friendly and energy saving industrial technologies for making industrial entrepreneurs to invest in green technologies and ensuring sustainability of development, 40 different organisations, individuals and groups will be awarded the ‘Bizaward on green initiative’ in the expo.
The sustainable and renewable energy development authority of government SREDA, Power Cell of Electricity department and Exponet exhibition initiated to hand awards in 15 categories.
Managing Director of Exponet exhibition Rashedul Haque said in a press note that for developing green and sustainable industrial infrastructure, entrepreneurs have taken different plans and initiatives. As a result, foreign investors are becoming more interested to invest in Bangladesh. Simultaneously Bangladesh is forwarding towards eco-friendly industrialization and urbanisation.
To make Bangladesh advance towards sustainable industrialization, in the organisation level ‘Bangladesh Infrastructure Innovation and Development Award for Green Initiative’ awards will be awarded to Best Green Building (Commercial, Residential).
