The 9th Convocation of the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) was held on Wednesday at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the city.
Deputy Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel conferred the degrees on the new graduates, said a press release.
Congratulating the graduates, Nowfel asked them to use their acquired knowledge for betterment of the country.
Bishwa Shahitya Kendro Chairman Prof Abdullah Abu Sayeed, University Grant Commission (UGC) Chairman Professor Kazi Shahidullah, Chairman of UAP Board of Trustees Monzoor Ahmed Chowdhury, UAP Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury and UAP Pro-VC Prof Dr M R Kabir, among others, spoke on the occasion.
