Around ninety-eight percent admission seekers failed in the test of ‘E’ unit under Law faculty, at Chittagong University (CU).
The result was published yesterday morning where only 1.63 percent applicants passed the test. CU Deputy Registrar (academic) and member secretary of the admission committee SM Akbar Hossain said, a total of 183 students passed the examination among 11,206 admission seekers, who sat for the test against 129 seats. The results will be available on the university website: www.cu.ac.bd.
Contacted Dr Abdullah-al Faruk, Dean of Law Faculty said, “There was no problem in question paper and examination system. These were same as the previous years. Still the applicants couldn’t obtain the pass marks. This was only a failure of the students”, he added.
