A Chittagong :
Chittagong district police in a series of overnight drives arrested 98 people including an Islami Chhatra Shibir activist with Yaba and Liquor from different upazilas of the district early on Friday.
Additional Superinten dent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district Abdul Awal said police detained 98 persons including an Islami Chhatra Shibir activist with 730 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets and 115 litres of country-made liquor from different upazilas of the district for their alleged involvement in sabotage acts and vandalism. The detainees also include 76 arrest warrantees and 21 accused in regular cases, he said.
