A college student regretted the failure of the Bangla Academy to hold discussions on the contributions of the then students and political leaders to the Language Movement.
Knowing the history is necessary to surge ahead. Tamaddun Majlish was the first as an organisation to muster public opinion in favour of Bengali as state language. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as member of the Tamaddun took part actively in its every programme. But this real story is unknown to most of people.
