Chittagong Bureau :
Police recovered about 9000 yaba tablets from a dry fish laden trucks in city on Saturday last. Bakalia thana police being informed conducted raid at Shah Amanat bridge area under Bakalia thana and detained a dry fish laden truck .
After searching the truck, police recovered these intoxicated drugs and rounded up four persons on board of truck including two drug peddlers. The detained are yaba Syed Noor alias Kala, Md. Ishaq, Driver Abdus sukkur and assistant Manzurul Islam. Bakalia thana Officer incharge Md. Mohsin told that these yaba are being brought from Teknaf aimed at selling in Chittagong in a transport truck hiding in dry fish consignment . Case lodged in connection with the concerned thana,s ources said.
