The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is set to file three cases against 17 people, including nine physicians and a former deputy secretary of Health Ministry for allegedly misappropriating Tk 15 crore in the name of equipment procurement.
The commission at its regular meeting on Wednesday approved three proposals to file cases against them, ACC public
relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya said. He said, there were allegations that some physicians in collusion with others misappropriated the public money while procuring medical equipment for Satkhira Medical College Hospital, Satkhira Sadar Hospital and Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
