In the latest promotion in the civil administration, nine bureaucrats have been elevated to the rank of secretary.
The Public Administration Ministry issued separate gazette notifications in this regard on Monday.
According to a notification, acting members of the Planning Commission M Humayun Khalid and Arastu Khan have been made its full members while acting Liberation War Affairs Secretary MA Hannan made secretary of the ministry.
Acting Secretary (Coordination and Reforms) of the Cabinet Division M Nazrul Islam and acting Information and Communication Technology Division
Secretary Shyam Sundar Sikdar made secretaries to their respective divisions.
Acting Secretary of the Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Division under the Planning Ministry M Shahid Ullah Khandker has been made secretary of the division while acting Planning Division Secretary Muhammad Shafiqul Azam made secretary of the division.
Another notification says acting member of the Privatization Commission Shyamol Kanti Ghosh has been made full member of the commission while acting secretary of the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has been attached to the Cabinet Division for appointing as the ACC secretary.
