A Feni court placed nine Jubo League activists a one-day remand for their suspected involvement in carrying arms by a microbus in the district in June this year.
The court also asked to interrogate the other 17 activists in front of the district jail.
The District Sadar contingence court-1 magistrate Sheikh Mohammad Badiul Alam passed the order on Wednesday.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was asked to submit the report to the court within seven days.
Earlier, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) raided on a motorcade of JL and recovered five short guns, five pistols and huge domestic arms at Lalpur in Feni on June 6. They also arrested 26 JL men in this connection.
