Law enforcing agencies in separate drives arrested nine alleged drug peddlers with 10 bottles of contraband phensedyl, 15 grams of heroin and 2 kg of ganja from Charghat upazila in Rajshahi.
Following the order of Rajshahi police super Mohammod Shohidullah, officer in charge of
Charghat model police station Nazrul Islam conducted the anti drug drive in different places of the upazila on Sunday along with the police forces. The arrested persons are– Hanifur Rahman of Shadipur village, Riyazul Koota and Shajamal of Askarpur village, Manik Hossain and Saddam Hossain of Gangpara village, Ayub Ali of Koidala village of the upazila. Besides, two others were arrested from Charghat medical mor area during the drive. The arrested persons are– Sree Shujit Kumar and Masud Sheikh.
