Narsingdi, July 23 (UNB) – Nine people, including a child died and some others went missing as a boat capsized in the Arial Khan River at Jongli Shibpur in Raipura upazila on Saturday morning. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. Officer-in-charge of Raipura Police Station Ajharul Islam said a boat with an unspecified number of passengers on board capsized in the river in the area due to excessive load when it was going to Banisar Mazar in the morning. However, some passengers managed to swim ashore.
