UNB, Magura :Nine sand workers suffered burn injuries in a petrol bomb attack on a truck at Moghirdal on Magura-Jessore highway in Sadar upazila on Saturday night.Five of the victims were identified as Imran, 25, Faruk Laskar, 35, Nazmul Alam, 35, Nawsher Ali, 40, and Elias Ali, 40. Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Jahangir Alam said a group of sand workers were returning to Magura from Jessore by the truck.As the truck reached Moghirdal, miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the vehicle around 8pm, leaving nine of the workers burned. The injured were whisked off to Magura Sadar Hospital where the condition of four was stated to be critical.
