Nine BNP and Jubo Dal activists were sent to jail custody following court order on Monday. Earlier, the court rejected their bail petitions.
Public Prosecutor of Mohanagar Session Judge Court Advocate Fakruddin Chowdhury said it.
He said, that the Session Judge Ashfaqur Rahman passed this order rejecting their bail petition.
Following the order of the higher court, these accused surrendered before the court on the day. The accused BNP activists are Nur Mohammad Guddu, Habibur Rahman, Md. Khorshed, Md. Nezam, Rafiqul Islam, Md. Monir, Jane Alam,Selim and Abu Miah.
PP Fakruddin said that these BNP activists were granted anticipatory bail from High Court earlier in a criminal case of Pahartali thana in 2018.
