Police on Wednesday arrested nine persons in connection with the question paper leakage of class II-IV in Munshiganj district.
As per instruction of Deputy Commissioner of Munshiganj Sayla Farzana, the law enforcers searched different messes in the town on Tuesday night and picked up them, said Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Alamgir Hossain.
The accused have been identified as Md Kajim, Rafiqul Islam, Ratan Mia, Abdur Rahim, Md Kamrul, Mostafizur Rahman, Riaz Mia, Sakhawat Hossain and Zakir Hossain.
Police claimed to have found the leaked questions in the smart phones owned by the guilty.
On Monday night, a group of parents complained to Deputy Commissioner Sayla Farzana about the leak and sent emails attaching the leaked question papers. Later, the DC cancelled all examinations of classes II-IV, scheduled for Wednesday at 113 primary schools of Sadar upazila.
