Results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations in Sylhet Board have been published and 89.23 percent of students have passed the tests.
Boys were just ahead of girls in their rate of success in this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations.
Among the 68,085 who passed, 60,750 are male candidates. 90.80 percent of the boys who sat for the examinations have passed.
Meanwhile, the girls aren’t far behind with 87.97 percent of all female candidates succeeding in their tests.
This year, a total of 68,085 students under Sylhet educational boards took part in the examinations from 265 institutions that began on February 9 and ended on March 20.
