The results of the admission test for first year honors courses of National University (NU) under the academic session 2013-2014 was published on Monday. 86 percent of the admission seekers passed in three groups of NU.
Total 83 per cent candidates passed in the admission test for the 1st merit list. Among them, 49 percent is female while 34 percent is male, said university authority.
In Humanities Group, 1 lakh 67 thousands 279 examinees passed out of 1 lakh 70 thousands 198 examinees appeared which is about 98 percent.
In Science Group, 50 thousands 477 examinees passed out of 54 thousands 761 examinees appeared which is about 92 percent. In Commerce Group 1 lakh 29 thousands 422 examinees passed out of 1 lakh 88 thousands 495 examinees appeared which is about 68 percent.
Total 413,454 candidates took part in the NU admission test for 30 subjects in 516 affiliated Honors colleges all over the country.
1 lakh 72 thousands 582 examinees’ result listed in 1st merit list.
