The results of the 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examinations were published on Tuesday with 8,523 candidates coming out successful.
Chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) Dr Mohammad Sadik told The New Nation that the PSC published the result just after an emergency meeting. “The 37th BCS examinations results were published in one month and one day and crossed all records of PSC in publishing result in a short time,” he said.
“The PSC has been working to reduce the long time process to publish the result. It was reflected this year,” the PSC Chairman said.
The results are available on BPSC website www.bpsc.gov.bd.
The 37th BCS preliminary examinations under the Public Service Commission (PSC) were simultaneously held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Barisal, Khulna, Sylhet and Rangpur centres on September 30.
A total of 2,43,476 examinees appeared at the examinations for 1,226 posts.
