A total of 85 police personnel were tested positive with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours while the total number of confirmed cases reach to 1594.
Meanwhile, seven members of the police died of Covid-19 till Saturday night. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) recorded the highest number of coronavirus cases.
Besides, 1089 are in isolation as they showed Covid-19 like symptoms, while 2870 others, who were in close contacts with the infected ones abd put in quarantine, the data shows.
Meanwhile, a total 147 cops member went to their houses after released from the hospitals till Sunday.
