Jessore police claimed to have identified a 85-member of inter district motorbike theft syndicate. Anisur Rahman, superintendent of police, Jessore produced documents before journalists at Jessore Press Club on Monday in support of Jessore police’s claim.
‘Jessore police became aware of after alarmingly increasing of incidents of motorbike theft in June- July,’ the SP added.
‘Police men engaged to investigate the matter and then the information was bagged,’ the Jessore police boss further added.
He also said the police have already 12 members of the syndicate and 23 motorbikes were recovered.
Two members of the syndicate were killed in ‘gunfights’ among miscreants, the SP said.
