A total of eighty four more persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in the district on Saturday, raising the total cases to 416.
Chapainawabganj Civil Surgeon (CS) Dr. Jahid Nazrul Chowdhury said 84 more persons were found coronavirus positive after testing 325 samples at National Institute of Laboratory Medicine and Research, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka and Rajshahi Medical College Hospital PCR Lab last night.
A total of four persons have so far died of COVID-19 and 153 patients have recovered from the disease in the district, he added.
