Chittagong district police in separate drives arrested 83 people from different upazilas of the district on Friday night. Abdul Awal, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district, said police detained 83 persons from different upazilas of the district for their alleged involvement in sabotage acts and vandalism. The police also recovered 660 pieces of contraband yaba tablets and 125 liters of country-made liquors during the drives.
