A total of 82,500 students got scholarships in the Primary Terminal Examinations 2015.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Mustafizur Rahman Fizar announced the result at a press conference in his office at secretariat on Tuesday.
The minister said that the number had increased by 27,500.
Of the total, 33,000 students will get Tk 300 each per month in the talent pool category and 49,500 students will get Tk 225 each per month in the general pool category.
The amount has been increased by Tk 100 per student in the talent pool and Tk 75 in the general pool, the minister said.
