The police detained a total of 82 people along with 279 Yaba pills in overnight raids across the district, a press release issued by the office of the superintendent of police, Jessore stated.
The press release stated that the police carried out raids at several places in the district till Wednesday morning. The said number of people was detained in the overnight raids along with 279 Yaba pills and other illegal drugs.
The police are being carrying out special drives across the district for a long.
