Today is the 81st birthday of RK Chowdhury. In his working life, RK Chowdhury has been elected Commissioner of Dhaka City Corporation more than once from Jatrabari and Dhanmondi.
He has also served as Chairman of Dhaka City Corporation Planning Development Committee and Chairman of RAJUK.
He was a political advisor of 2nd and 3rd sectors in the great liberation war.
RK Chowdhury currently spends time writing columns in newspapers and reading books.
