Eighty-one female and 47 male workers returned from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Sunday night empty-handed.
Most of them are physically sick because they were tortured by the employers in that country.
They landed in Dhaka by an Air Arabia flight.
The three female workers, who are seriously ill, have been taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport directly.
One of them said, her name is Adury. She failed to give details due to serious sickness.
The others are Fatima from Bhairab in Kishoreganj and Halima from Sunamganj.
They alleged that they had been beaten by the employers frequently.
The male workers alleged that the recruitment agencies cheated with them.
Most of them have not been given ‘Akama’ (Work permit). Some of them got it, but sent back to the country because they were working outside their employers’ workplace as they had no work there.
They alleged that the agencies have taken Tk five to six lakh excluding the government limit of Tk 1,65,000.
