Today is the 80th birthday of noted columnist, freedom fighter and Adviser of Sector Commanders Forum RKChowdhury.
He was elected commissioner from the city’s Jatrabari and Dhanmodi more than one. He also worked as the Chairman of RAJUK.
RK Chowdhuty established many institutions including RK Chowdhury University College (Sayedabad), RK Chowdhury College (Jurain), RK Chowdhury High School (Sayedabad), RK Chowdhuty Hospital (Jatrabari) and RK Chowdhury Hospital (Jurain) for the people’s interest.
