An eight year old boy was killed on the spot at a school ground in Jhenaidah on Monday morning when a piece of brick falls on his head. The deceased was identified as Shubhra Paul, 8, son of Bhabani Paul of Jitorbhabanipur village of Jhenaidah Sadar upazila. He was studying in class two in the local pre-cadet school.
Eye-witnesses said, Shubhra Paual along with some of his classmates were playing at the ground of the school at about 11.00 as the class was delayed in starting.
However, the deed writers alleged, the general secretary has embezzled the money all by himself.
In a recent arbitration, he was also found guilty of abusing two deed writers physically.
When asked, the accused denied the allegation.
