The government has promoted eight Superintendents of Police (SPs) to the rank of Additional Deputy Inspector General (Additional DIG).
A gazette notification signed by Dhananjay Kumar Das, Deputy Secretary of the Home Ministry’s Public Security Department has been issued on Monday.
The newly-promoted senior officers are: Jashore SP Mainul Haque, Chapainawabganj SP TM Mozahidul Islam, Chattagram SP Nur-e-Alam Mina, Mymensingh SP Md Shah Abid Hossain, Deputy Commissioners (DC) of Dhaka
Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Ilias Sharif and Md Jakir Hossain Khan, Deputy Commissioner Shyamol Kumar Nath of the Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) and Assistant DIG Md Anwar Hossain Khan.
