Mobile court of district administration conducted drived against the contraband and time expired medicines in the city on Thursday. Deputy Revenue collector of Chittagong district administration Md. Ruhul Amin led the mobile court.
The mobile court conducted raids in Cinema place, Mehdibagh and Cheragi Pahar area in city . Mobile court sorces said some dishonest persons are running the medicine shops without any drug license since long and storing the contraband Indian medicines. The mobile team also recovered huge contraband time expired medicines and doctor’s sample medicines.
During the drive, k 8 medicine shops fined with Tk.45 thousand and warned them to rectify themselves otherwise exemplary punishment will given . During the drive, executive magistrate was accompanied by Superintendent of Medicines, Heath Directorate, Ctg , sources said.
