8 more killed in road crashes

Reckless driving continues on the roads and Highway. Death procession is becoming longer to long on the streets. At least 8 persons were killed and 25 others seriously injured in separate road crashes across the country on Tuesday.
In Cox’Bazar, a SSC passed student named Mohammad Imran, 18, was killed and three others were injured when a Hanif bus hit their motorcyclist at Eidgaow college gate area the district on Tuesday morning.
The tragic accident occurred at 11.00am on Tuesday in front of Farid Ahmed Degree College under Cox’s Bazar sadar upazila.
The inured are Mohammad Joinal Abedin, Rahol, 17, and Mohammad Shamim. All the students have passed this year’s SSC examination.
A Sub-Inspector of Eidgawon Police Station confirmed the matter to the media.
In Keraniganj (Dhaka), a pedestrian named Rafiqul Islam, 57, was killed when a passenger bus rammed him at Rohitpur under the Keraniganj of Dhaka on Monday night.
Amirul Islam, Sub-Inspector of Keraniganj Model Police station told the news to the media.
In Nilphamari, a three-year-old child named Murad, 3, was killed when a battery-powered easy bike rammed him at Digantapara area under Domar upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.
The accident took place the on Chilahati-Vawlaganj road.
Nurul Islam, Inspector of Chilahati Police Investigation Center, told media.
In Gazipur, two workers of a feed mill were killed and two others injured as the part of a truck fell on them while unloading maize in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur on Monday night.
The deceased couldn’t be identified instantly.
Sreepur Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Nazmul Sakib confirmed the matter to the media.
In Rangamati, two in a family including a house wife and her mother in Law were killed when a autu riskhaw overtuned in Rajstol upazila of the district.
The deceased were identified as Rupa sen,70, and her son’s wife Torolata sen,40.
In Manikganj, a construction worker named Shoel, 18, was killed when a pickup van rammed him in front of Akij Tobaco factory on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway on Tuesday morning.
