A total of eight students under eight Faculties of the Islamic University (IU), Kushtia have been selected for Prime Minister Gold Medal for outstanding academic result in their respective department.
IU registrar in-charge SM Abdul Latif said, the selected students will be awarded by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with medals in a ceremony.
The students who selected for the this honorable medals are- Zakaria Rahman of Dawah and Islamic studies department under the Faculty of Theology, M Jahidul Islam of Arabic Language and Literature department under the Faculty of Humanities, Laboni Khatun of Law department under the Faculty of law, M Alamgir Hossen of Economics department under the Faculty of Social Science, M Shahbub Alam of Finance and Banking department under the Faculty of Business administration, Shahriar Morshed of Statistics department under Faculty the of Science, ASM Imran Hossen Bhuyan of Information and Communication Engineering department under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Naznin Akter of Applied Nutrition and Food Technology department under the Faculty of Biological Science.
