At least ten activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Islamic University unit were injured in a clash between two factions of the organization on the campus in Kushtia at around 8 pm on Wednesday .
The injured BCL activists are Salman, Shadhin, and Badhon of AL-Fiqh and Lagal Studies department, Rana and Rezvi Ahmed Oshan of Law and Land Management, Alal Ibne Joy, of public administration department and Uday of Law department.
The injured were taken to university medical center for the primary treatment.
Witnesses said, the clash took place between the two BCL factions in front of the Saddm Hossen Hall of the university when Rezvi Ahmed Oshan was beaten up by some of another activities.
Some 6/7 activists called him as he made audacity to seniors when Oshan was coming to Zia Mor along with his friends, witness added.
Late, the situation became normal with the interference of the senior BCL leaders and proctorial body of the university.
