A team of the Narcotics Control Departement (NCC) recovered 915 pieces of Yaba tablets worth about Tk 25 lakh from the city’s Uttar Kamlapur area on Saturday.
They arrested a man on suspicion identified as Soheb Mia, police said.
The NCC Detective Branch’s (DB) Sub-Inspector (SI) Sumunur Rahman confirmed the matter and said that a special team conducted a raid at Uttar Kamlapur about 12 midnight and recovered
7915 pieces of Yaba from a hotel.
He added that they arrested Soheb Mia during the drive in the hotel.
He is being interrogated by the Narcotics officials.
He said that a case would be lodged with the Motijheel Police Station in this ocnnection.
