Satkhira district police arrested 76 people in special operation. They were arrested from different suburbs of the eight police stations of the district on Monday morning till Tuesday morning.
Satkhira district police Special Branch Azam Khan said 14 people from Satkhira Sadar Police Station, 12 from Kolaroa Police Station, 5 from Tala Thana, 10 from Kaliganj Police Station, 9 from Shyamnagar Police Station, 11 from Asashuni Police Station, from Debatata Police Station. 9 people and 6 people from Patkelghata thana were arrested.
He also said that there were cases against the accused on various charges, including sabotage.
