Health Minister Zahid Malek has said that 75 per cent people of the country have been brought under corona vaccine. Bangladesh ranks 8th out of 200 countries in vaccination program. This has been possible with the guidance and cooperation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He made the remarks while attending the inaugural ceremony of Lung Rehabilitation Week organized by Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited at the conference room of Manikganj Colonel Malek Medical College on Saturday (March 12).
The health minister further said that the role of pharmaceutical companies is behind the success in controlling corona in the country. The death rate in Corona is much lower in Bangladesh than in other countries. So far 32,000 people have died.
In India 5 lacks and in powerful America also 10lacks people died in Corona. Bangladesh is much better than that. Now business, trade, educational institutions, everything is going on normally, said the Minister.
