Chittagong district police in a series of overnight drives arrested 75 persons including a Jamaat activist from different Upazilas of the district on Sunday.
Abdul Awal, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district, said they were arrested for their alleged involvement in sabotage acts and vandalism.
Police also recovered a Light Gun (LG) at an abandoned state from Boalkhali upazila and recovered 650 yaba tablets and 153 liters of country-made liquors during the drives.
